What is Neurofeed Back?
Neurofeedback is process to re-train brain waves back into normal healthy patterns using advanced computer technology. That is accomplished by reconnecting functional pathways in the brain through audio and visual stimulation. Our software monitors your brain waves while you watch a movie and when an irregular brainwaves are detected, the systems triggers a response that signals your brain to subconsciously correct the pattern.
What is a Brain Map?
A brain map is an important tool we use to evaluate your brain waves and identify opportunities to improve communication between various regions of the brain. The brain map will analyze the data and show which brain waves, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta are out of balance. The brain map will also get us the best program to use in re-training the brain.
How long does each session take and how many sessions is needed?
Each session lasts 30 minutes and varies on each patient. The brain map is a tool we use to determining which program to use and how many session would be best for each patient.
