What is Sciatica?
Sciatica refers to back pain that is caused by the sciatic nerve and can radiate down the entire leg or part of the leg. The Sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in the body and pressure can cause pain and can limits a person from walking, sitting or even standing.
What are the symptoms of Sciatica?
Radiating pain from the lower back and down the entire leg or part of the leg is a key sign that its Sciatica. The pain could be sharp, burning, numbness, tingling or even sharp at times. It can even cause weakness of the muscles of the leg where it’s difficult in walking or going up and down stairs.
